Jesus started working in the Graybiel lab in May, 2021. His goal is to learn and master many neuroscience techniques as is: stereotactic surgery, histology, photometry / behavioral assays in rodents. Jesus graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela with a B.S. in Cellular biology. He moved to Boston in 2014 were he worked at TUFTS medical center anesthesiology department studying the effect of metabotropic glutamate receptor blockers on neonatal rat brain. In his free time, Jesus enjoys playing the piano, bandola, cooking and making kinetic art.
